Thanks, Rachel, for this low key but critical view on where we are. There is a huge need for all of us who recognise our foundational connection to the whole of the biophysical world to pull the veil away from those who are who are still in thrall to the treadmill. To let them see that it hasn't always been this way. I didn't know about the connection between Plato and the mono-theistic religions but it does make a lot of sense. So much we have taken as read about life as we have known it but it feels like there is an unveiling happening - the mask is slipping and more and more people are recognising the reality of our sleazy politics - or at least, it is for me!
