Navajos were given the worst land to grow food on in NM and in the four corners area. i rented a place in the green valley where the water was, people were living without running water and basic necessities very close. war and propaganda . It’s 1984 in 2024 but we see the videos - in 1984 they keep saying “ war is good” but no one sees the kids with the missing limbs and the infant body bags - even in that world of 1984 they didn’t see the horror - they functioned in a system where there was no nature and perpetual propaganda and an outlaw of love.
Are we there ? outlaw of love- to stand up for humanity one must be outcast and demonized.
If israel devotees and supporters want to blame anyone for those of us speaking up for Palestine, blame the education i received in NYC and Rockland County NY on the Holocaust - and what not to do to human beings. I’m only repeating what i was taught.
And my life experience living in NM, knowing Navajo people, knowing real American history and its horrors and knowing actual Palestinians , Lebanese , Syrians, iraqis and Iranians and LOVING them, the kindest people . I marched against apartheid in SA and both Iraq wars with my Jewish friends.
There is no hiding the heinous brutality of taking land over and over from people who actually know how to live with it and in harmony w the ecosystem.

Besieges a car with a 6-year old girl trapped in it for hours surrounded by bodies of her murdered family, then kills the girl with over 300 shots and finishes by killing two paramedics who tried to help her.

Another proof that we suffer from a lack of real education. People who do not have the ability to admit when they, or their people, are wrong. Whose common sense, even after careful reflection, remains warped. While it is true that "truth" can be hard to find, and that people and politics are messy, some things are also pretty clear. Israel is the bad guy here. Full stop. End the oppression. Stop creating enemies. Do things the right way. Seek virtue and truth and have some courage to call out those who are wrong, no matter who they are.
