Listen now | The stories to navigate an inconvenient apocalypse
Scary, sobering, and inspiring as well. Absolutely outstanding conversation packed with big picture overview of the state we're in.
EVERYONE needs to be part of this grown up discourse
Brilliant episode! Reminded me of growing up in the forties and fifties in a small village by the Thames and spending my summer holidays on a sheep farm in Wales. How beautiful the countryside was then, and how the simple life we lived was so wholesome: no car, no internet, no air travel, no shopping malls, no rush to get somewhere else. Of course I know it wasn't so idyllic for everyone. And my parents had to work damned hard stacking the hay with pitchforks … for me it was a pleasure. Amusing he thinks himself "old" at 64 when I'm 84; encouraging that maybe my nostalgia has value after all.
